Tried making several searches both in incognito and ordinary tabs on Vanadium, restarted the phome, force restarted Vanadium, tried again several times, but Brave Search doesn't appear as an option under Settings -> Search Engine. Is there a way to add it that I don't know about? Thanks.

EDIT: SearX instances do appear as an option though.

What I did was go to search.brave.com and searched for grapheneos. Clicked on the graphene site to complete the search.

Closed vanadium, went back into vanadium and search.brave.com was available in recently visited in settings

That's unfortunate, worked perfectly for me. The search subject has no reference - just typed what I did.

Good luck, hopefully someone with more knowledge can help

uthunku same (on Mulch), It might just be a temporary error tho.

Vanadium has recently received an update and I can confirm that the bug is still there.

Are developers aware of this? I'd be super thankful if this issue would be fixed

Hi. If you are still struggling with the issue, try this: disable JavaScript in Vanadium. Do a search with Brave Search. It should now show under Recently visited. After selecting Brave, you can re-enable JavaScript.

I have the same with Mullvad Leta.

Chromium thinking it knows better than users is a real pain here.

I followed the exact same steps with leta.mullvad.net and it still doesnt show

    I can't help, I can't access Leta. Sorry.

I opened the Brave search, looked at "recently visited", and found nothing.
I then did the same, but made a generic search first. The site appeared under RV.
From there it was easy to select
