I use 5x5 grid on home screen and find a lot of vertical blank space.
I know it's low priority as not security related.
Just wondering how hard it would be to add, say, 5x6 or 5x7 option?

I used 6x9 on the previous device of similar size, 5x5 is too little for me.

dlb I already use an alternative launcher, OpenLauncher to be specific, but I'd prefer to use stock one if possible.

This is me. I haven't found anything I like as much as Nova. I do a blank home screen to keep things clean and just use the app drawer which is perfect in Nova with the tab feature. Then i have Panels running on the right side for my most frequent apps. I hate using a phone so when I do it needs to be ocnvenient as possible.

I'd also love to make better use of the vertical space of the home screen. Compared to Nova-launcher (which I have used for a couple of years on my previous phones), having more grid options (esp. vertical) is the only thing that I truly miss in the stock launcher so far - except that, it does a very good job!

Maybe it's too difficult for the programmers to program/add a 5x6 or 5x7 grid? Or maybe simply almost nobody missed it yet?
