Pixel 8 corrupt help

So i recently purchased a google pixel 8 pro to install graphene, unfortunately the install process didn’t go as planned and now the device says it is corrupt, i can still go to the boot loader but my computer doesn’t show any compatible devices although i have all the upto date software and it shows on device manager, is the phone lost? i can’t for the life of me get it to show

leitch i had the same. Had to try connect it to a differrent device where it did show up and the flashing succeded

i don’t have recovery mode or anything like that, it’s like the OS has been completely wiped just the error message and bootloader however plugging it into the works laptop it does recongise it as a pixel 8 pro

I think it would be productive to provide a bunch more details. What kind of computer are you using? Running what version of which OS? What went wrong with the first install process?

de0u was using windows 10 motherboard usb to usbc cable, with all the correct updates, the process got stuck on flashing the image ‘writing vendor’ i believe it said, which left me no choice but to cancel it and now the device dosent seem to have an OS at all, was downloading the husky pixel 8 pro latest software and how now become incompatible with my computer to load another imagine into the bootloader

I am not a install-from-Windows expert or a fixing-stuck-install expert. You might be able to get real-time help via the GrapheneOS Matrix channels, and if so that will be better advice than you'll get from me.

Since you're on Windows... did you do the step of putting the device into the bootloader, plugging it in, and then downloading the Windows fastboot drivers?

I had a similar thing happen recently when flashing my Pixel 7. Turned out to be a loose/faulty USB cable. Stuck in a bootloader loop. Thought I bricked the phone. All I had to do was reposition the cable at the USB-C port. Phone reconnected and I was able to resume flashing through to completion. Since then, I purchased a Google OEM branded USB cable. No troubles since then.
