Yes, before I would just run into the notification that, for example, Vanadium has been updated or Apps are up to date.
When in the last couple of weeks either see notification saying that there is an update for an app or apps.
As of now the current version of Apps is version 20.
@rustybird has pointed something out
// Auto update is implemented in the following way:
// There are 2 jobs: update check job and auto update job.
//
// Update check job runs periodically, its only constraint is the presence of network connection.
// If update check job determines that there are available updates, then it shows the "updates
// available" notification and schedules the auto update job.
//
// Auto update job is allowed to run only when the device is idle, to avoid updating packages
// that are in use, and to not take up network bandwidth that is more likely to be scarce when
// the device is being used. Auto update job supports network type constraints.
//
// Both of the jobs can be disabled by the user.
Perhaps recently I've had the luck of checking my phone right at such point where Apps is merely reporting that there is an update, where if I had leave it alone, the auto update task/process would do its thing??
I've to test this out. If I notice said update availability notification again, I will leave it be and see what happens.
If Apps itself update to version 21 should mean everything is good. I will wait and report.
Thanks
