Thanks for the link and question. And no, didn't have G-cam installed. To this point I had zero Google apps/services on the GrapheneOS install.
Oddly, I was able to fix by uninstalling the Droid-ify App Store from the Owner Profile. Then deleted the Work Profile, Rebooted the Pixel 6A, Recreated Work Profile, then installed using the GrapheneOS App Store with now problems.
I'm disappointed my new company uses Google Suite, and everything it entails but I know have Play, GSF, GPS, Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc all nicely Sandboxed in the Work profile and authenticated against my work G-Suites account.
One question - I installed the G-Suite Apps using the Google Play Store. Would it increase my Privacy Controls to install from Aurora App Store?
Aaron Other commenters can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe no. Google Play Store should be more secure than Aurora. (Security and privacy are not the same thing, but a security breach can lead to lack of privacy.) The only reason to use Aurora instead of Google Play Store is to avoid sending your account information to Google, but since you have to be signed in to Google Suite in order to use it, Google is receiving your account information anyway.
I got the same error "Your device has an app installed with the same package name, but a different signature." when trying to install GSF. Have two profiles: Owner and Main. Tried both. Same outcome.
But what package do I have to delete? Graphene Apps only shows 17 and if I go to Settings/Apps, I see 16. None of those reads droid-ify or anything like that.
This is clean install of GOS. I didn't do anything to it other than create a new profile.
Frustrating.
PS. Also 6A.
Crazy. Switched phone off and on. Problem is gone.
Cigurd they are only inactive so long as the secondary user is at rest, if you open the secondary user and switch to owner or another user they remain functional in the background for that specific user.
To stop them and the user you need to ensure you use the End Session
button. Just clarifying for others if you already knew.
Hulk You are right, Hulk, I the last update has not been installed. My last update was TP1A.220624.021.2022083000, and the last stable update could be TP1A.220905.004.2022090600. But why was it not offered via OTA? Tapping "Check for updates" does not give any result. Do you have any ideas for a solution?
