Hi everyone,

I got a trouble with profiles - I'm no longer able to have work profile using Shelter or Insular.

So, I have been successfully using Shelter, and decided to try Insular.
I installed Insular, and it failed to create a work profile.
I opened settings - system - multiple users, and saw that "allow multiple users" was disabled, even though I've been successfully using Shelter.
I decided to uninstall Shelter and thought it will fix the problem, however it didn't and Insular failed again.
I installed Shelter back - and now it failed too! There was a message saying that there is an already existing guest profile, and I should go to settings and delete it.
So, I opened settings - system - multiple users, enabled "allow multiple users", and saw that there is no guest profile, only "add guest".
Ok, I added a guest profile and then deleted it, hoping that this would finally fix the issue.
However, it didn't, and now both Insular and Shelter fail to create their environment, while a ghost guest profile is existing somewhere and is not shown in the multiple users settings.

So, I'm no longer able to use these programs, despite the fact that I could ise Shelter before this.

How can I fix this and get it back to the working state?
Or is it a GrapheneOS bug?

PS: my device is Pixel 7 Pro running the latest OS version.

No. It's not a bug. Work profiles and User profiles are two entirely separate things. You're not deleting things properly. You have to delete the work profile first in Settings -> Passwords & accounts and then uninstall the Shelter app.

True, i mixed to different things.
All is fixed now, thanks a lot for the tip! :-)
