We would have to carry this conversation in a separate thread or something as its not related to OP.
Subliminal Thank you. I'm good to go for now. Just looking to mark this issue/concern SOLVED.

Ahoy. This looks like a discussion I could really use. I'm a former mac prisoner who is new to grapheneOS/Android, so I'm going to ask some stupid questions. Be gentle. :)thanks
Stardust Ask away, here or in a new thread, we will be happy to answer :)
Thank you. I will assemble a short list of questions phrased as best as I can. Android language is new to me. Thanks.
There is a wealth of information on the site that it might be good to read first.
I found it to be very informative and valuable.
Stardust Don't worry about 'android language', as long as it gets the point across we are here to help :)
First question: I have a pixel6 with Android 14. When I tap on my visual voicemails, they disappear before the message is even finshed. I check my carrier VM immediately, and it is gone there also. Any ideas?
I should also mention, im running grapheneOS
Advice on why my voicemails are disappearing?
Also, My pixel3 GOS phone keeps "failing to check for updates." Any ideas?
Thank you. I will. Any ideas about why my visual voicemails are disappearing?
I also have a pixel6 with Android 14. When I tap on my visual voicemails, they disappear before the message is even finshed. I check my carrier VM immediately, and it is gone there also. Any ideas?

I intentionally didn't comment on this issue before because i personally dont have any experience with visual voicemail. However i can only tell you that "i think" i have read in the past from other people that visual voicemail doesnt work on gos. However i can not make this statement with confidence.
What i recommend you is that you make a separate and dedicated post with a VERY CLEAR and good descriptive title that asks this question. Something like:
Does visual voicemail work on GOS? (pixel 6a, And14)
A good title that is fully informative to the core of your question is critical and a dedicated post will likely cause people to see your inquiry and get some answers. Posting in this thread might go unnoticed.
