    i use Proton.

W1zardK1ng I've been usinging it for 6mo almost since I tried degoogling my personal and professional life. The services infomaniak provide are similar to those of Google ecosystem. I only encountered 2 times server problems and I've been properly instructed that it will only last for a few minutes which it did bot times. Other than that the web UI is pretty similar to those of google and after I gave a free edition of ksuite a chance for my personal stuff I migrated all my business stuff as well to a paid version of ksuite as I needed more space and hosting as well. Let me know if you need to know any more info. My opinion is give it a try it sure worth it and also I never looked back at gservices again.

Enas I discovered infomaniak yesterday, it's really a great system, for now it's the only one that can really replace Google completely because it takes care of contacts, calendars, photo backup directly from the phone, and the paid offer is 2to which is perfect for me. The only thing missing is information on encryption. I haven't found anything on this subject if you have any info?

According to their site they encrypt Kdrive data transfers with 128-bit AES. But this page about data analysis outright states that they have full access "when you grant us this right".

So I think we can safely assume that they have full access to all of your data.

I also found this service interesting because it seems more complete than Proton's and mainly because it is also based in Switzerland, but the requirement for a phone number and the lack of encryption discouraged me.

I use their mail, calendar and drive/file-cloud services.

        Pros:

        • no data being sold to advertisers (at least that's their promise)
        • competitive pricing (e.g. I got a mailbox with unlimited storage for free with my domain registration, kDrive is also very well priced)
        • full suite of applications, comparable to what Google or Microsoft offer
        • mail, calendar and drive web interfaces have all the functionality you need
        • FOSS-friendly: their Android apps (kDrive and kSync) are in F-Droid; kDrive has a Linux client (not sure if it's FOSS though)
        • supports all open standards like IMAP, CalDAV, WebDAV
        • based in Switzerland, so if you're in any other country your data is relatively safe (e.g. any legal requests would have to come from the Swiss authorities)

        Cons:

        • no end-to-end encryption, so your data can be seen by Infomaniak (e.g. for support to help you, or if requested by the police)
        • they want your real name, phone number, address and payment info (although in my case I registered a domain where I think most of these are mandatory)

Conclusion: Depends on your threat model.
