Since the latest GOS upgrade my main bank app doesn't open. This is a huge problem for me.
It doesn't open the app to do the finger print test.
Can anyone help?

Can you give more details btw

primipare try posting with details such as phone model? app name? Os version? to help get informative responses. Native debug enabled/disabled? Exploit protection compatibility mode enabled/disabled?

Had the same issue on my 4a5g.
Simply rebooting the phone a few times fixed it for me.

      Pixel 7
      build number TQ3A.230705.001.2023071100
      native debug enabled
exploit protection - can't find it (not using an english language system. I have something called "reliability agent", maybe? Value is none.

I open the app, i click "connect" and normally the finger printer opens for me to log in. Now, the wheel is just turning endlessly saying "loading". I've restarted the phone

primipare Clear app data and try again, and If you installed your bank's app from Aurora store, Reinstall it from the Google Play store.

[deleted] Not better. I did reinstall it from Google Playstore, deleted cash and all app data, rebooted the phone.

primipare Then maybe that's a bug in that app itself or the app doesn't know how to handle itself when a device doesn't pass MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY of Google's Play Integrity API.

primipare You could generate a bug report and ask for the GrapheneOS developers to have a look at it either via the OS issue tracker on GitHub, or the testing room on Matrix.

primipare Use a web interface if the bank has one. I never use a bank app.

[deleted] I need the bank app to be able to log into my account via the webinterface. :'(

I just tried with another bank's app which I hadn't bothered to configure as I hardly use it, configured it and that works. I might have to change bank just for the sake of GOS lol.

primipare Enable and open developer options, and from there you can generate a bug report immediately after the issue occurs.

Also, make sure that all three Google apps: Google Play Store, Google Play Services, and Google Services Framework are installed and have the network permission enabled.

Furthermore, if you could send me the link to the app in the Play Store, I can test it on my phone.

treequell apologies for being such a no-knowledge user but how do i enable developper options? can't find it.
all 3 google apps have network permission, this i could see
