Has anyone experienced connectivity issues with Graphene? I'm on a Pixel 6A, using a physical EE sim. I also have an e-sim, but I only use that for receiving 2-step codes so potentially irrelevant to this issue.

EE should have great network coverage in the UK. I often find though when I put my phone into airplane mode overnight and then turn airplane mode off in the morning that it's really slow to pick up the internet connection. Often it will get H+ for a period of time, and then finally switch to 4G.

I've also found that the connectivity to 4G is poor in general.

I have a small 4G modem that I use an EE sim in as well, and often that will get quite decent 4G service when my phone is not getting a mobile data signal at all.

I think I may have some settings wrong, or have not configured it properly which is causing this issue, but I'm not sure where to start to troubleshoot.

If anyone had any ideas I'd appreciate it! Thank you

    Hi,

Have you checked what the coverage is like for your carrier in your area? You should not need to adjust too many settings really. In your Sim Settings under Settings-Network and Internet as long as the toggles for "mobile data" and "automatically select network" are enabled it should be working as long as signal from carrier is strong enough. Also its recommended to have LTE only/4g enabled.

Same Issue here. My broadband internet on the phone is slow.
The funny thing is when I connect my laptop to the Phone's hotspot its blazing fast :D

    Pixel 6.
    I have done the following:

    • Reset connection several times
    • Restart phone
    • Contacted my carrier
    • Tried Tango's suggestion

    No luck.

Hopefully someone comes w/ a fix

ORahmo The funny thing is when I connect my laptop to the Phone's hotspot its blazing fast.

That is odd. Is your laptop getting DNS settings from the hotspot, or overriding with something else?

Fixed!!!!! Once I have updated below items

        • Vanadium System WebView 115.0.5790.136.0
        • Vanadium app (Don't think updating this one will matter) 115.0.5790.136.0

The odd thing is I kept checking for updates on hourly basis and nothing appeared.
        What I have done is

        • I have powered off the mobile for some time
        • Powered it on (for me 3 ~ 5 hours)
        • Checked for updates
        • Installed updates and everything worked

        Thankfully I won't install leave GrapheneOS :D

I believe it was set on Automatic.
Like I said, the issue was not w/ the phone, my SIM card or 4G settings. It was working perfectly.

I suspected the OS and sadly it was.
        Hopefully these updates keep coming

and of course huge shout out for GrapheneOS developers for making an OS which I can control every single HW item on my mobile device :)

All above replies are wrong :(
I was still connected to WiFi when I thought the problem was solved :'(

        Issue still exist

I have Finally Solved the Issue by Manually inserting Carrier Access Point Names "APN" settings
Check your APN carrier setting in UK and configure it in the below path
Settings > Network & Internet > Internet > Carrier Settings "For me its etisalat" > Access Point Names > Add by pressing + sign.
