treequell PS_Alex I went in Phone information (##4636##), and I set prefered network type to LTE only. It's easier to set LTE preferred mode or LTE only mode from Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Preferred network type.
[deleted] PS_Alex I use a Pixel 7 Pro as well and have not encountered what you're experiencing. I'm an app minimalist and my battery barely depletes during the night while I sleep. Do you have anything that is always running in the background? I'd check Battery Manager and usage.
Skyway PS_Alex it didn't help my issues , but I've been going through setting one line at a time. Worth a shot to try . There was a post somewhere on the internet that mentioned the battery drain issues that has plagued pixels is related to mobile data usage . And a setting that is only available to stock android may fix it. (adaptive connectivity)
Skyway Just an update , seems there was a hardware issue. Didn't think I was still under warranty but I was , sent it into google and they repaired it, got it back yesterday. Today my problem areas are gone , no service issues .
turmoil2750 i'm getting poorer service too. but in my country there are already known problems with my provider with pixels so i'm switching to the provider that is know to work better with pixel phones. we'll see how that goes. maybe in other countries there're also a similar situation
turmoil2750 after changing providers it's fixed. i think it's ridiculous that google literally doesn't give a fuck about making pixels work with all providers. or maybe the providers are to be blamed?
[deleted] turmoil2750 I'm not sure. The blame could even be with both Google and providers, but I'm glad your issue was fixed!
Skyway turmoil2750 could be your new provider uses a different band and or has more towers available.
Skyway twitheatrophonic flash back to stock before sending in . in the U.S. non stock OS will not void warranty due to legislation.
turmoil2750 @Skyway @[deleted] from reading reddit threads, i think google simply doesn't officially "support" my country, which is hungary if anyone wants to know. currently volte only works on the carrier i changed to and there is no 5g support at all this is really dumb
dgzeij turmoil2750 Sounds like 5G isn't done with bugfixing. Others have mentioned the same as a reason not to use it because of security concerns (for the next few years).
