  • Call Recorder - Automatic Recording of Calls

a month later

I was SO pleased to see GrapheneOS now includes a call recorder.

where do you find call recorder then? i can't find it.

yourmother It is a button in the in-call UI when making phone calls with the default phone app. For most users it is one of the 6 buttons shown. In case it is not for you, swipe up from the middle of the screen, and then the call record button will be shown.

treequell You won't see the button until the person you are ringing accepts the call.

oh yess you are right. it only appears when accepting a call.
hmm.. are there settings to play with? like that it record every call automatically?

treequell Automatic call recording is a requested feature, but not currently implemented

what do you mean with requested feature?

treequell The feature has been requested by members of the GrapheneOS community, but it has not been implemented by the development team, and there is nobody actively working on such a feature at the moment. You can view the feature request in the issue tracker: https://github.com/GrapheneOS/os-issue-tracker/issues/2083

thanks you for all your answers. you are helping a lot :)

i also wondering, can i make a shortcut from the map "callrecordings" on my homescreen?

Call recording still doesn't work for me yet although when I make a call three way the option will show up. Or if I use Cheogram number then the option is displayed. Hopefully with an automatic call record option it will work in the future for all me calls

              ok next question.
It annoys me that the screen keeps lighting up when I move the phone a little. Can that be turned off?
