  • Weird Touchscreen Behavior Recently, Makes Pixel 6 Unusable

Not sure how effective writing out the behavior would be so here is a video clip.

Have been using the device successfully, with GOS for a few months, so I'm pretty sure its not hardware. I had a very strange blackscreen issue, and some restarting problems in the last week. Now currently dealing with this - Not sure what the best solution is - just reinstall and start again - or does anyone have any better ideas because that's a bit of hassle?

Thanks

BroJogan Have you tried restarting your device and seeing if this persists? What about if you swipe up from the bottom of the lock screen?

I encountered this also. Luckily it went away on its own after and update

I've been having similar issues here recently. Sometimes, when I try to swipe up on the lockscreen to get the keyboard to enter my password, it just refuses to come up. Like you're showing, the keyboard will sort of semi-swipe up, but then it falls back down. I think it started with the previous build. Since the new build downloaded a day or so ago, I haven't seen this issue. But, then, it was/is only occasional. If it happens again, I'll come back here and report it.

The video has apparently been "archived" and can't be seen now, but my suggestion for weird touchscreen behavior, is to try CLEANING it. Try using a mild cleaning chemical, like vinegar, on a soft cloth.
