I updated my Pixel 6a to the latest GOS update T2B3.230109.009.2023031500
. However, since then the VoLTE option disappeared from the SIM settings. It was set to ON before the update.
Any idea on why it happened and how it could be fixed?

Is it possible that this is related to this: https://9to5google.com/2023/03/16/google-exynos-modem-vulnerabilities/ ?
matchboxbananasynergy Is it possible that your carrier dropped everything but LTE and made VoLTE mandatory?
I’m pretty sure my carrier is still offering 3G network. However, I don’t know whether they made VoLTE mandatory or not. Even if they did, why was I able to toggle VoLTE until this update?
boarim New updates bringing new carrier configurations would be my guess.
matchboxbananasynergy I see. Well, I’ll check it out once again with the next update. If it’s not solved, I’ll see with my carrier.
After applying the latest stable update, the option is still not there. However, when going to Settings
> About phone
> SIM status
, Mobile voice network type
is 4G. So, I guess VoLTE is automatically on.
