  • Creating an offline profile for password and Auth apps only

I was thinking of making a profile just for my password app and 2fa app. I would like for it to be completely offline so I don't have to worry about data leakage from those apps.

Would going through all apps(even system apps) on said profile and removing network permissions for each work? Also disabling the network connectivity checks for the profile? I've been toggling off the data connections to my owner profile before switching to certain profiles for this reason. It would be nice to not have to do so.

Also would that profile be secure if the owner profile incountered a worst case senario in terms of malcious app install or attack?

Thoughts?

[deleted] Not sure that removing network permission from system apps is a good idea...

I achieve a similar goal by doing this - normal apps in the sensitive profile have Network permission off. Always reboot before ever opening the sensitive profile and disable all Internet in Owner before opening sensitive profile. Once you done, end session for the sensitive profile to put it back to rest. Then you can enable Internet in Owner and continue using the phone.

[deleted] How do you transfer credentials you need for another profile if you need to login?

It would only be for important passwords not used in other profiles but still need to have on my person.

Why not use utilities that do not use network permission?

      AndOTP for example.
