I installed the pixel camera from the Play store. I did so because I am under the assumption that the pixel camera app harnesses most if not all of the hardware features better than the camera app that comes with graphene OS.
Question 1: Is my assumption true or false?
When I double-tap the power button, I would like the pixel camera app to be activated.
When the phone is locked, and I double tap the power button, I'm faced with a screen that's asking me for my password. This was not the case before I installed the pixel camera app. When I just had the graphene camera app, and the phone was locked and I double tapped the power button, I would be instantly taken to the camera app without having to enter a password.
I would like to be able to double tap on the power button and to be instantly taken to the pixel camera app without having to enter a password.
Just to be clear, when the phone is not locked—for example, when I'm on the home screen or looking at some other app–and I double tap the power button, I am happily taken to the pixel camera app. I'm assuming this to make the point that my operating system knows that my preferred camera app is a pixel camera app. But I still have the problem of bypassing the lock screen.
Question 2: How do I go directly to the camera app when the phone is locked?
