  • How to communicate between profiles? Signal?

From what I read it seems that signal is very secure for communication and privacy. Which resulted in me installing signal on my seperate profiles so that I can communicate between profiles on my grapheneos device. I thought I could have one number linked to the signal apps downloaded on seperate profiles but it seems that it does not allow me to do this therefore I can't communicate between profiles.

Am I missing something to solve this issue or is there a better way to communicate between profiles.

    You can transfer files across profiles by using FTP. PrimitiveFTP has an encrypted SFTP server, and can be localhost only. Material File browser app can be both a client and server.

    I've also used netcat across profiles but that's a bit hacky. There are LAN messaging apps, but I've not tried yet.

    Ghj456 You can use Signal to transfer between profiles but they both need different numbers. You should be able to find a service online that can provide a temporary number for you to register a Signal account.

      Forgot to ask. Do you want communication only between profiles, or do you want stuff going to the cloud?
