Device: Pixel 3a
Issue since: Last update (July 20)

After the last update, I get this persistent notification on my phone shortly after I start the phone. It stays there for hours, an of course nothing is connected to the phone (never was). While the notification is there, I cannot charge the phone, like there is no indication that charger is connected.
The notification goes away only when the battery goes below low power threshold (15%). After this phone can be charged normally and this incessant notification doesn't come back.
Never experienced this issue with earlier releases.

addy There might be something lodged in your charging port, did you try cleaning it out? Had this happen a long while ago to a phone.

Did you ever get this sorted out? I've been having the same issue since the most recent GrapheneOS update.

NewUser Any solution for this bug ?

It doesn't seem as if this is happening to lots of people, so it may well be a hardware problem rather than a software problem.

Unfortunately, maybe the best way to decide what kind of problem it is would be to wipe the device and flash it back to the Google's stock OS. If it's still there, that would be hardware.

Since that's drastic, it might make sense to first try blowing out the port with canned air.

de0u I tried your last solution but did not work. Now I can charge my mobile only if powered off.
