p-m following on from userofgos above, do you also have 2FA pin toggled on too? Doing so means after validating your fingerprint you have to input a pin as well.
Or do you mean you believe to be inputting it correctly but it isn't recognised on the first attempt but is on the second, if this is the case do you have pin scrambling enabled? Also if you've disabled feedback on the pin pad to show which button is pressed try disabling this feature to make sure you are hitting the numbers you want to.
If it shows up as a press on a different number you may have a screen calibration issue.
