I've experienced the reliability issues myself. That has been the main reason that I've dropped running /e/OS twice and once for CalyxOS, which are better in some ways but worse in other ways. When I switched to GrapheneOS I was so fed up with issues, that when I got an Android 16 bug for my Garmin watch i dropped back to stock Android.

I've read the blog post in the past. I just want you guys to see what this looked like to me. If you where a naive outsider, like me, and wanted to find the truth, how do you think this would look? 😂

Swamper GrapheneOS is considered the gold standard when it comes to security and privacy.

It is. As a former Cellebrite contractor, this is a dead end.
Regarding NSO and zero click exploits, their audience is mainly using iPhones. Nothing so far achieved on GOS, but attempts
were made. Currently Android zero click exploits are being sold,
or better to say offered, at a 1 million dollar bounty for each.
Needless to say they don't bypass MTE, which should also involve a very sophisticated chain of exploits.

Seriously? Getting audio from the gyroscope/accelerometer? That would be one hell of a feat! It takes a hell of a lot better of an accelerometer with an interface a hell of a lot faster than i2c to accomplish that!

Joe-FastFeet Having trouble keeping up with AOSP updates and scamming users are two different things. DivestOS was a very honest project that never aimed to be an alternative to GrapheneOS, but rather a project to reduce the attack surface for users who couldn't use better options, such as end-of-life devices. DivestOS founder Tavi, recommended GrapheneOS over his own operating system if the user was able to do so. Harassment from members of /e/ and its founder played a role in the abandonment of DivestOS.
