It looks like motorola could be the next OEM, though there's still a slim chance that OnePlus might come out on top. OnePlus have devices priced similarly to Google Pixel phones and with cool hardware specs

soniaservi Oneplus has very bad security practices. They ignored Rapid7 security team when they contacted them in May for CVE-2025-10184 and only responded them months later when Rapid7 made the vulnerability public.

The devices will definitely use Snapdragon. It will likely be the flagship SoC launched in late SoC. There might be multiple devices with 2 different tiers of the SoC. Those details aren't determined yet. We aren't sure if we'll add support for newly launched Pixels afterwards.

I hope they will continue to support Pixel phones. After all, I really love these devices and I think they are a great product. Also I don't like Motorola phones' design :)

Do y'all think the OEM Partnership will go as deep as fully supporting the Play integrity API? So once the user decides to install the Play Services, they can get API support as well?

I very much expect that the OEM's devices that are running the regular Google-certified OS already pass attestation-based integrity and that their upcoming devices will also. But I do not expect that the OEM will be able to get Google to certify GrapheneOS on the same hardware.

Then I don't quite see the point of switching the manufacturer. Google phones have been good enough for GOS so far apart from this annoying Play Integrity API issue. Just my two cents.

We're working with a major Android OEM towards the first non-Pixel devices meeting our security requirements in 2027 and that's going well. It should be an overall upgrade for radio security too.
