First and only post from a privacy conscious oldie

I am an older person who has spent many years slowly transitioning away from Big Tech – mainly guided by a wish for privacy .Step by step changes to apps etc made this journey possible but I was always ‘uncomfortable’ about my phone/phone OS until finding Graphene OS about 2 years ago.
I used to worry on a regular basis that either my tech or apps could be made better ( both from a privacy and security perspective ) so , like many people, spent a lot of time trying to read up/keep on top of new developments – time that could probably have been better spent enjoying life …
After reading and investigating Grapehen OS , I took the plunge and bought a compatibile phone and downloaded Graphene OS . I still remember the days after I first downloaded Graphene OS and had it set up for my personal needs.
For the first time in years , I felt comfortable using my phone because I realised I trusted it not to do anything I didnt’t want it to – that feeling of comfort is a wonderful gift
So , I would like to add my thanks to the team at Graphene OS for all their work .
So many forums are filled with negative comments , I’m sure it’s good to be positive when we can ..
