Those are great reasons to avoid voluntary purchases of networked surveillance devices, or enabling always-on monitoring features for convenience purposes. But deliberate mass surveillance is not the same thing.
Sometimes electric cars catch on fire while charging. It's very bad when it happens! And maybe sometimes a company might try to cover it up. But it's not the same thing as electric car manufacturers being part of a deliberate conspiracy to burn down people's houses.
A few instances of Google devices leaking audio to people who leak it further is just not any evidence at all that Google is mass-harvesting audio from cars, let alone deliberately.
