Perhaps this is extreme, but I don't even use my car's FOB. Those things are constantly sending signals, so anyone within a hundred feet or so, can copy your receiver's signal and use it to open your car. I don't have a high profile car, so it's not likely someone would steal my car, but still, I feel better about putting my key in my door lock to lock and unlock my doors. Is it as convenient as the fob, no, but it is more private and secure and to me, that worth it. I would prefer to do something that's not as convenient, if it means being more private and secure. Sadly, these days, most people will give up private and secure to do something that's convenient.
