  • Cryptocurrency exchange apps working on GrapheneOS

Hello graphene users:)
I was looking to register to a cryptocurrency exchange app (or through the browser), and I don't know which of them work flawlessly on GrapheneOS (if some of them require special privileges that the OS blocks). I couldn't find any information about cryptocurrency apps on GrapheneOS, anybody has any experience and can recommend any of them (Crypto.com, coinbase, bitfinex, kraken and other exchanges)?
Another question: do you know any cryptocurrency exchange which is minimal on KYC?
Thanks:)

I have binance running on my workprofile with Sandboxed Playservices installed - it works.
Coinbase was working as well, but I don't have it installed anymore and haven't testet it in a while...
No KYC, Localmonero and Agoradesk are available in the F-droid repos :)

Does anyone use coinbase with a security key?
When I log in, I enter my credentials and use my key with NFC, and nothing happens. After a small load, I stay on the login page.

I'm still a beginner, trying to figure out how it works, but monero is definitely my next step.

You can buy monero on kraken exchange just like Bitcoin. Then if you send it to your moneruji account or other monero wallet.

Same thing as Bitcoin really, just a different currency.

Strange thing with Coinbase apk. Works good but in some places scroll doesn't work (awards for education) and that's impossible to finish some quizes (can't scroll up or down the screen where next or finish button are located)

I can verify that the Agoradesk and Localmonero apps work on GOS, but you could also simply run the website in Vanadium. For everyone interested in a non KYC solution.

[deleted] I think it may be due to the security key protocol relying on webauthn. I had a similar issue with logging into my password manager. It appears that in grapheneos webauthn requires some combination of google play services (cant remember which ones). My solution was to create a seperate profile with full google capabilities to login to my password manager.

Here's a link that helped me with my issue, maybe it will have some info you find useful:
