Can apps transfer transfer data between each other

When you install the Google Camera instead of the normal one and turn off all of its permissions it can't except for the Camera it can't send the taken photos to Google, can't it? But if Google Play Store has Network permission because I sometimes want to download a app, can Google Camera transfer the photos to Google Play Store and then send it to Google or is this not possible due to the sandbox? The camera is just an example, I'm talking about any app that you install with the Play Store and then cut off its network

I'll let someone else answer who is more knowledgeable about sandboxing on GOS.
My 2 cents, I would avoid signing in to the Google Play Store to download apps unless you have to for license checks for paid apps.
I would just install them with Aurora Store and use their generic gmail account.
