Reading some posts regarding aurora store security issues i am thinking of creating a fake google account and transferring my banking apps to the playstore. do you know if this can be done simply by upgrading the apps to their latest version through the playstore? Or do I need to uninstall and reinstall them again? As I mentioned in the now locked post https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/20760-im-confused-about-google-accounts/45 , I currently have these apps installed from the aurora store on a secondary profile with play services installed. They work normally without any problems. ( simply binance asks for play integrity api constantly even when not open).
Transition from aurora store to playstore

Goseur7 I too switched, for the same reasons. Could be that Play Store will tell you what to do. It wants to update my Brave installation I got via Obtainium.
For more important apps like banking, I deinstalled it first, just to be sure. Still using Aurora though for a couple of apps where I have to spoof my device.
BaronAfanas Thanks for the reply. I'll do the same with uninstall/reinstall, maybe on a completely new user profile. Did you manage to create a google account without a phone number?
Goseur7 I did, but on a lucky day. Usually it doesn't work. Tried workarounds I found on the net, nothing. Then one day, it worked. After that, nope.
