I am all of a sudden getting a list of my apps saying "app X tried to use native code debugging". I restarted and another 10 apps did the same. Any reason why this would happen?

Every app is doing it now.
Yes, I've had the same behavior since tonight, with 2 apps that weren't updated today either. Hadn't opened them either, and suddenly the messages appeared. (Lufthansa and DB Navigator)
Amazon app has just been updated and now I get the messages there too...
I'm also getting it from several more apps (including those that weren't updated today)

n2gwtl Having native debugging disabled without enabling hardware memory tagging was triggering the alert due to Chromium 132 adding code to log debug information when memory tagging is enabled for Chromium as Vanadium does but not enabled by the OS. It has been resolved in the latest Vanadium release.
