Many have probably already been following. Apple settled 95 million $ for spying on users through Siri without consent or knowledge. Apple seems to have a very loyal user base on claims of privacy and security. I could understand security, but as far as privacy - they seem as bad as the next. Maybe worse.

So it was not my imagination. Here is a quote from myself in a different topic where someone pondered switching to iOS:
I swear this phone was spying on my bed talks. We were talking about going on vacation and the next day ads from tour companies roll in. Without asking my permission it sifted through photos, identified persons on these photos to create categories. It constantly checked GPS location (the only way to turn this off was to turn off remote phone locking which is one of its advertised security features).
Turns out I was right.
A 20$ reimbursement for being wiretapped against your will is laughable though.
They're above the law at this point.
Byku and you wouldn't know that, were you using an adblocker! Funny situation

The account attacking people and promoting Apple products with spin/misinformation has been banned. They seem more incredibly devoted to Apple than a troll. We removed their posts and the replies interacting with them. There was only a single post not involving them after they derailed the thread. Discussion can now continue in a more productive way if people still want to talk about it. If they make yet another account we'll deal with that too. They keep creating accounts on the forum despite being banned and that needs to stop.

And we get called fools when we told them their devices are good little spies.
But even if I have told my wife's iPhone, I'd liked a Lamborghini Huracan STO under the Xmas tree, it didn't happened.
I don't know what is the saddest..
NetRunner88 they're just out of lambos
Highlights an important reason for desiring privacy with regard to these services. Even if, even if they did have my best interests at heart and even if they claimed they'd respect my privacy they obviously can't be trusted to do so. I'll have to take things into my own hands.
