What is thr best way to watch YouTube apart from through tor browser for privacy? Even though tor does a good job for fingerprinting I feel like google is still able to identify me. I was thinking about installing Newpipe. What information would google know about me if I use Newpipe. I assume that Google will just have my IP address and this can be fixed by running newpipe through a VPN such as Orbot?

Also, any recommendations for an app similar to Microsoft word but best for privacy?

Ghj456 Freetube is great on a pc for youtube. Onlyoffice is a great alternative to Microsoft word. Just deny it internet access to be 100% safe.

Newpipe has been great for me, so I haven't bothered looking for alternatives. I disable all history/cache settings in the app. I would imagine that your IP address and associated viewing is all that Google would be able to obtain; no different than when viewing videos from a 3rd party site.

    I use LibreTube every day.

Like on Newpipe, you can subscribe anonymously. Optionally you could log into an account, but it's not required.

LibreTube is using the Piped API, which uses proxies to circumvent Google's data collection and includes some other additional features.
