I’m planning on buying a new phone to use Graphene on, are some phones better than others?

Do newer phones like the google pixel 6 have googles spyware even deeper embedded into the phone making installing graphene not as effective? Or does installing Graphene on any google phone guarantee that google will be out of the picture?

I’m a noob to Graphene so sorry if this is an obvious question, just want to do it right the first time.

The best phone to run GrapheneOS at the moment is a 6th generation Pixel. They don't have "Google spyware". They're perfectly suited for the OS and are among the few devices that can meet the current criteria to be supported.

GrapheneOS doesn't come with any Google service by default.
