Try removing Brave from Obtanium and starting again from scratch, following the exact steps as below and not changing anything else:

Write Release in the section Filter Release Titles by Regular Expression
Write Bravearm64Universal in the section Filter APKs by Regular Expression

I just deleted my Brave configuration from Obtanium and followed the same steps and it worked just fine. It has to be user error of some kind.

DeletedUser88 Oh, thank you so much that you even deleted and tried it! I did the same now and it worked but I did not write Bravearm64Universal, I only used arm64Universal and it got installed directly but only when I enabled latest Tag too. Normally without filling in these options and just selecting Latest Tag, I get asked to select a Version but it got installed instantly and says Bravearm64Universal. Did I do everything right?

Yes now you have the correct version installed and it should auto-update just fine.

I'm not answering the author's question here, I'm just commenting to wish Tavi all the best in the years to come. I haven't used DivestOS and I don't know if Tavi reads the comments on this forum, I would still like to thank him for his for his courage and perseverance, doing on his own what he did for 10 years is is completely insane.

This is really sad news. I’ve been using DivestOS on some of my end-of-life (EOL) devices because it’s a great harm reduction project that backports some monthly security updates.

While I use a Pixel 6a with GrapheneOS, the devices running DivestOS have been really useful for my music setup at home, connecting over cable to my Denon music player and speakers.

If the OEM desn't feel that there is a need to support device with security updates, shouldn't you assume the same position?

Well, not everyone has that luxury. Ideally, yes and we'd all have the best of everything*. But the reality is that a substantial (I don't recall the number but it's huge) portion of the world's phone-users are stuck with older, unsupported handsets.

That said, I appreciate the work and commitment from the DOS dev. I've enjoyed the software and followed the project with admiration for many years. Truly one of the good guys.

*IMHO, anyway bc I love you all so much.

I asked the Maintainer of IronFox if he can maintain Mulch too and he told me that he has a lot to do but he will ask some of his Developer Friends, if they could maintain Mulch. Let's wait and see. He will tell me if they will take it up.
