Hey
improve zoom gesture by scrolling during zooming to keep focus in the same place instead of the top left corner
thanks :)
GrapheneOS Thank you for this great effort!
Finally
Reporting a visual issue with this version 20 when used with the app PDFDocScan:
https://github.com/LittleTrickster/PDF-Doc-Scan
Previously in GOS PDF Viewer version 19, PDFs could not be opened at all from PDFDocScan due to a "invalid MIME type" related error.
Now in GOS PDF Viewer version 20, I can view the PDFs from PDFDocScan, but the aspect ratio is significantly warped / stretched.
To reproduce:
Install app, scan something in portrait mode
Tap check mark on top right
Tap image thumbnail on bottom right
Tap "Save PDF" on top right
Now you're back at the app homescreen
Tap "PDF" on top right
Tap the item that was just scanned
The item opens up in the native PDF Viewer app, but warped
The PDFs also display this behavior if they are saved to internal storage and opened in GOS via the file picker, without going through the PDFDocScan app.
The same PDFs will open up just fine in other PDF viewers on other systems.
Leads me to believe that there is still some kind of PDF metadata format reading issue specific to the GOS PDF Viewer.
Lmk if I can assist with further troubleshooting.
I documented a more succinct version of this as a github issue:
https://github.com/GrapheneOS/PdfViewer/issues/427
Hope it is acceptable
