This is going to sound silly I know,
but if I revoke all permissions for tiktok through the google sandbox, does that make tiktok more private?

I don't think. If you would use tiktok in your browser this would be probably the most private way. A good browser with blocking capabilities and secure like brave. Vanadium is much more secure but i believe it doesn't has tracker blocking only with dns. Apps are more restrictiver than Websites in a Browser. i think tiktok itself has many first party tracker in the app which you can't block. you can only block the third party trackers with dns or something different. you can use tiktok in your browser to block much more and not to give access to your phone because they can see which phone are using and so on and also their privacy policiy display many things they can do. But this is something you can't do anything about if you use tiktok. they collect many things. But if you use it as an app and revoke all permission then they can't acces the micro or something but they can still collect data with third party trackers.
I would say the most private way is it using tiktok in browser.
after that using the tiktok app with blocking tracker with dns and granting no permission.
Anyone correct me if i am wrong.
Ajlok It really depends upon your threat model. If you have reason to be exceptionally concerned about your privacy, I would avoid any apps of this nature.
