How secure and private is VOIP for only at Home? For example Calls with VOIP Provider for Smartphone is often not recommended, because it is not private. But is there really a difference between Home VOIP Setup vs Smartphone VOIP? I did for example read, that if someone has a VOIP Number in the Smartphone, that it connects/pings still to cellular Towers and I don't like that. That is why I removed my Sim-Card already but if Home VOIP still pings/connects to cellular Towers, then, I would avoid that too. And is there a better way to make private and secure calls? (Not Messaging App Calls - I mean normal calls)

I don't understand your objective. Are you're just trying to avoid using cell towers for VoIP calls?

Who is saying this? How is it any less secure than using phone carrier for calls? I'd argue that it may be MORE secure than using phone carrier for calls since it shields the call FROM your phone carrier, whereas using the carrier for calls means that the carrier knows who you are calling and even has full access to the content of the calls.
