as I was extensively using K-9 mail in GOS, looking forward to Thunderbird. testing on beta app so far seems smooth.

    11 days later

TheAwesomenESQ I am also wanting to try it out. Just wondering what the Devs of GOS have to say about its security and privacy level.
I will actually re-install it first on my PC (had it on my PC somewhere in the early 00's....) add accounts, make back-ups of the mails, clean accounts up and then I would like to have it on my GOS devices. Well, now I know what I will be doing this weekend...

I installed it a few days ago and in conjunction with openkeychain ran three accounts all using PGP encryption without issue, it worked flawlessly. I did uninstall it all though! It was me I could not come to terms with all that personal secure information being on a device, that I could leave on the train, even though my pin is 14 digits...

[deleted] Oof.. that is very strict. I am glad to not have to use public transport. I can only leave my phone at work, or in my car. What I did now 'discovered' is how much 'accounts' I have made since 2005 when I joined the Beta of Gmail. I have unscubsribed and requested to delete my data under GDPR rules for a lot of companies, if they even still exist, I have no clue. See how many will reply. But thank you for informing me (and others) that it works great.
