GrapheneOS This is most probably unrelated to the updates, because my phone was able to pick up an NR signal very easily when I switched SIM cards to a different carrier.

Would it make sense for individuals to try actively searching for problems as sort of dedicated testers or can that can only be helped by more people in alpha and willing to report? If so, is there a certain method to do this that you can recommend or some specific things one should look for?

I'm always looking for a way to support this project (besides contributing money or code). Should this be an area in which I could be of use, I'd gladly put regular effort into it.

If you have better suggestions for things I could do to help you and on how to best support the project, please tell me!:)

fxnn The Beta channel testers are the main ones responsible for catching issues like this. Alpha channel testing is very quick to maximize the time in the Beta channel. Alpha channel testers are protecting Beta channel users from massive issues and Beta channel users are protecting Stable channel users from serious issues. It really shouldn't have been possible for such a prominent issue as the 5th gen IPv6-only carrier compatibility issue to make it through Beta testing. There are definitely at least dozens of people who experienced the issue during Beta testing. We're having a problem with issues not being reported. It started being reported very quickly once it was in Stable despite going through 24h of testing with 0 reports, and we do have a lot of people using Alpha/Beta. Something went very wrong with the public testing process this time. Nothing we can really do about it now. We can do longer testing periods in the future but we think the issue is people haven't been clearly instructed to quickly report regressions in Alpha/Beta channel releases.

GrapheneOS I am still getting call ended. I have a Pixel 6, my phone is set to auto system update with new releases, but still no update? I have reset my phone that does nothing either. Can anyone help or when it might update? I can not even make a call atm.

Bdesign Which version are you on? You can check in Settings > System > About phone > Build number

If your phone isn't on 2024091900 and you're not getting an update, then make sure the updater app is enabled and has the network permission. From the owner profile, check: Settings > Apps > All apps > *3 dots in upper right-hand corner* > Show system > System Updater

If your phone is up to date, you can try resetting mobile network settings from the owner profile here: Settings > System > Reset options > Reset mobile network settings

Bdesign I am having this same issue now on the Pixel 6. Resetting my network settings does not seem to fix the issue. Any advice?

Emerald I am on the current latest release. Although this problem started before the Android 15 releases. (I assumed it was carrier maintainence)

jarell sounds like an unrelated problem. Feel free to start a new discussion about it.
