I've a P8P and I'm on the latest build. I've installed the newly released thermometer app from the GOS app store but can't find the app anywhere in my third party launcher. I'm currently using Lawnchair 14 beta 3. I've also tested Nova and Smart Launcher but still can't find it. The only way I'm able to find them is through the app list in settings, through the GOS app store and when I use stock Graphene launcher.

I've also tried installing a quick shortcut app and creating a custom shortcut, but I can't find the thermometer app there either. Has anyone else noticed this strange behavior?

You will after updating to the latest release (which I believe is currently in beta).

Long story short, we isolated the thermometer too much initially. :)

Thank you for the quick response! Looking forward to the new release then :)

matchboxbananasynergy I can personally verify, that on the beta release of 2024083100 the Thermometer app worked perfectly for me. Maybe the issue is in simething different? I know that "works on my laptop" is a dumb excuse, but there must be a reason for that.

stupidcreature It worked fine on that release, but people using third-party launchers couldn't see it on their homescreen after installing it. That's because the isolation was preventing third-party launchers from seeing it.

The latest release makes it so third-party launchers that you are using can see the thermometer app and display it on your homescreen.

If you hadn't changed a launcher, it's completely expected that you could see it just fine.
