Hey, this is my first entry, please link me to the right article if it already has been asked.

I installed graphine os on two devices. A pixel 8a and a pixel 8 pro and i'm experiancing the exact same issue on both. When I try to connect to certain sites, which is quite many vanadium behaves as if it has no connection to the internet. Sying:

"this siten can't be reached" "servers IP adress could not be found

This is the case for github, duckduck go and many more. So basically I can't dowload most other browsers or anything.

Can somone help

NasRaj If the two devices are on the same network, especially if it's a Wi-Fi network, what happens if you switch to a different network?

Is it feasible to name some specific sites?

    6 months later

i can't connect to any site with any network with Vanadium; all other apps are able to reach URLs.

Idealist2382 What error message(s) does Vanadium provide?

Which other apps do not have this issue?

        error:

        This site can’t be reached
ddg.gg’s server IP address could not be found.
        Try:

        Checking the connection
        ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED"

and DuckDuckGo and Firefox are the other two browsers i use with no errors.

Idealist2382 are you using a VPN? If yes, which one?
Check for private DNS in Vanadium -> 3 dot menu -> Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Use Secure DNS -> toggle should be "On" and "Use your current service provider" (first option) selected. Is it any different?

Also, check your phone settings -> Network & Internet -> Private DNS (should be set to "automatic"). Is it?
