Hi, I'm sorry this isn't directly answering your question but yours is the only post mentioning the Xfinity Hotspots app so I thought I'd expand on that.
I tried the Xfinity Hotspots app and get the error "Wifi Profile Management has been disabled. Hotspots will not manage the installation of secure Xfinity WiFi profiles on this device."
I have the 3 sandboxed google apps installed on a Pixel 4a, Xfinity Hotspots installed through the Play Store with network and location permission. Using the admin account, not a second user.
With a second user the app kept crashing on launch, on the admin account it will run and at least show the hotspot map.
I believe the Xfinity Hotspots app won't work because of some difference between Graphene and stock Android. The app works on my stock Pixel 4a.
I haven't tried manually connecting yet so I can't comment on that.

    Anyway, I reflashed to stock android and tried the Xfinity Hotspot app again, it still wouldnt work. Apparently if you use Xfinity Mobile The XFINITY hotspot connection process needs to be managed by the Xfinity Mobile app.
    You didn't say what your carrier is, but if you're using them give that a try.

    The Xfinity Hotspot app is supposed to auto-connect you to the more secure "XFINITY" hotspots, not the "xfinitywifi" ones, if that helps at all. So will the Xfinity Mobile app

    Ronko The app runs fine on my Pixel 6 but I was never given any mention of wifi profiles in it. I can find a spot to manage profiles, but it only gives me the option to refresh or remove, not to add/install.

        I think the profiles are supposed to be generated when you sign into the app. Lots of people have posted questions about this on Reddit and the Comcast Support forum with varying success. Some were able to use older versions of the app or get it working by either:
        going to Settings > Network & Internet > Internet > Reset internet (button in top right corner)
        or
        going to Settings > System > Reset Options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth

        Not everyone had success with that, and they were using stock Android. I haven't found anything about using these hotspots with Graphene.

        I assume the first thing you tried was going into Internet settings, hitting the gear icon next to the xfinitywifi network, and ensuring auto-connect was enabled. If not then check that setting.

        I should be within range of a xfinitywifi hotspot tomorrow, I'll try to remember to test it and report back.

          The hotspot near me has a weak signal so it's hard to test this fully.
          I'm 99% sure when I tried connecting to a stronger xfinitywifi hotspot at my brother's house I was getting internet access when connected but then it wasn't auto-connecting if I disabled wifi and turned it back on, just like you reported. I will need to try this again tomorrow, my memory is not so good.
          After using that "xfinitywifi" network at my brothers house, my phone tries to auto-connect to the one near my house. However, due to a weak signal, it fails to obtain an ip address and disconnects after a few tries.

          I'll try again tomorrow. It would be great if we could get these working reliably.

          I haven't had any luck connecting to the "XFINITY" hotspots, with either the Xfinity Hotspots or Xfinity Mobile apps.

          Tried again with a full strength xfinitywifi hotspot. It behaved exactly as you said, so this is not limited to the Pixel 6. (4a here)

          I just remembered that Graphene randomizes your MAC address by default. You could try disabling this feature.
          Go to:
          Settings > about phone > wifi mac address. Tap "wifi mac address," select "Xfinitywifi," tap "privacy" and select "use device mac address"

            Ronko That is a feature I'd rather keep enabled.

            UPDATE: Today I launched the Xfinity WiFi Hotspots app and got a popup to allow automatic connection of recommended networks. I went into the WiFi Profiles section of the app and there is now two profiles installed. I haven't had a chance to test the connection yet, but will post if it works now.

                Colvdv oh, cool! I hope it works. I just realized stock android also randomizes the mac address too so that shouldn't be an issue

                    Ronko Confirmed just now that it is working now on my Pixel 6. Not sure what changed, but it is performing as expected now.
