I'm a new grapheneos user (about 1 or 2 weeks) and discovered we can make different user profiles to "silo" our usage of the phone.
so what i understood, is I can create a second profile (or third or etc) and then, put every google things on the second profile (like gmail or google map and so on) and then keep the private concept of grapheneos without google or other big giants (like facebook) spying on us and sell those privates infos they will collect when use those services (like google map)
am I right?
because on the main user (under grapheneos) I try to not use any google or facebook products (and other no private products) ... and try to use open source products like OSMAND instead of google map .... but have to admit ... some products are very hard to beat like google map VS OSMAND :/
and then, for my school or job, they mainly use google services. So i have to use those in order to have access to my stuff and files. So this is why i'm asking myself if I can silo those apps under a second or third user to avoid being spied and have those apps to "talk with eachother"
