I bought a few Chipolo POPs, I'll share my experience here so far. I used the old phone workaround to pair them to Find My Device, and that worked great. One mistake I initially made was to them pair them to the Chipolo app on the old phone, but quickly found out that the app works on a per device basis. So, pair to FMD using the old phone, but then pair them to the Chipolo app on the GOS phone.
That lead me to my second issue, pairing to the Chipolo app on GOS. The app was not able to pick up the tag, but if I went into the bluetooth settings and manually paired the POP from there first, then went back to the app, it worked.
For the first little while, it worked! I could locate the tags using my GOS phone, and all seemed well. However, over the past 24 hours, they dropped offline one by one... I now only have one of the tags able to be located by my phone, when all of them are in range. I can even see them paired to my phone, and all the Chipolo app functionality works fine.
So, seems not perfect. I'm not sure what's causing FMD to not be able to see some of the tags, while it is able to see others. I'll reset and re-pair them tonight and see if it makes a difference, but overall, strange behaviour. Anyone got any ideas here on what might cause this?
