2fa apps

Are there any 2fa apps that are open source and maintained be a security research company?

Aegis is good option

I looked at Aegis, its a great project thanks it might use

Aegis is my choice

Also worth mentioning is that Bitwarden is currently developing (so probably wait until it has matured more) a 2FA app.

I took a look at this one, I look forward to seeing how it matures, it looks promising , thankyou

KeepassDX does 2FA well

Aegis Auth is solid I use it currently

If you want to have a cloud synced e2ee Auth take a look at Ente Auth https://auth.ente.io/ I am currently trying it out.

I can recommend both Apps they work great.

Aegis is local only while Ente has cloud sync. your decision which you use :-)
