I have a pixel 5A with graphinOS and am a relatively new user. I simply swapped my whole set into my new phone and messages and calls working immediately but I can't get data to work. Any help would be appreciated 👍
Data not working pixel 5A
Helpmeeee Try resetting cellular settings. It would help if you said which carrier it was and checked the carrier settings version string in the cellular settings page too.
GrapheneOS I'm a little confused by the tech jargen (I'm more of a casual and newer user) but thanks for the reply . I have tried resetting networks and that doesn't work. And my carrier is tracfone. (4g lte)
GrapheneOS I have messed around with the cellular data settings, if that's what you mean and I still couldn't get it to work.

To find one's carrier settings version string: Settings, Network and internet, then click on "SIMs", then click on Tracfone, then scroll down to "Carrier settings version".
By the way, please note that Google's support for the 5a may end as soon as August 1, so if your goal in running GrapheneOS is to have a phone with solid security then time may be running out quickly.
Support for what? Thanks for helping.
Helpmeeee Google has committed to fix firmware bugs and Android security bugs for the 5a through August 1, but has not committed to doing so after that.
Once Google stops supporting a device's firmware, it is no longer a secure platform for GrapheneOS, and GrapheneOS support will taper off. Depending on one's security stance, it may make sense to stop using the device some time between August and the end of 2024.
It is unfortunate that at present working devices have security expiration dates, but that is the situation. One piece of good news is that newer Pixel devices have much longer firmware lifetimes.
