This is of interest to me, I've been using Muzio Player for a while, it work very well and I can add album cover art easily also. However, lately the adverts on the free version have been getting worse. I wrote to the author a couple of times saying I am happy to pay to get rid of adverts but he only accepts paying through Google, which I refuse, no other payment option available, so much for a "privacy" app.
So I am looking for something else, VLC looks good but I don't know it well. Does anyone know how to add album art with it?

Free, no ads, no internet permission is even requested.
Allows for editing all kinds of metadata and adding album cover art directly to your files, all within the app.
Great tools for bulk selecting files within the app as well.

Gray I think VLC creates albums automatically based on the metadata of mp3. It's similar to the iPhone app.

For me, Deezer is the only French streaming application whose servers are in France.

huberto I use Vinyl as well. The only downside is it's really slow re-scanning my whole library compare e.g. to Auxio. But that's not necessary very often, so I don't really care.

I'm currently using Vinyl Music Player, as it has an built-in tag editor.

Installed from Play Store, but it is available on Github too.
