I'm currently working on switching from using my Samasung Galaxy phone to using my Pixel 8 Pro as my main phone.
The main issue I'm have is finding a phone service that will work with GrapheneOS.

My plan is to have one phone number for Family, Friends, Coworkers and some club members. I need to able to talk and text with these people.This group know my real name and will put that name in there contact list and that contact list can be scanned by the app's to find "people you may know" feature e.g. Google, Facebook, etc... and/or the phone's OS collects your contact list info via cloud backups and keeps it in there servers e.g. Apple, Google, Samsung, etc...

Next have a phone number for medical, doctor offices, pharmacies and auto mechanics. This number is for service I need and I need them to be able to talk, text and receive short 2FA codes for the medical portals. This group knows my real name and other personal info via my driver license an insurance card. That info is being shared and sold with third parties via Electronic Health Records (EHR). I'm tring to lessen personal info third parties collect from my EHR as much as possible.

A third number for one off groups like signups, apps or 2FA codes (e.g. Lyft) that I don't need to talk to at all. But may need to text and receive short 2FA codes. The best approach for this group I think is to use a burner phone service.

I've been using Cloaked for phone groups 1 and 2 for about a year now. It was working well. But lately I've been unable to receive call or texts. I think I can still use my Cloaked account as a burner phone maker.

I tried to use MySudo as referenced in Michael Bazzell's Book Extreme Privacy and from Naomi Brockwell's YouTube channel. But what they don't tell you is that you need a Google Pay or an Apple Pay in order to use their payed tiers. To me that defeats the whole purpose of having an anonymous phone number service if you can only Google's or Apple's payment and having to use your Google Account or Apple ID to use said payments.

I tried Mint Mobile's eSIM as described in Michael Bazzell's Book. But I couldn't get passed the verification part when inputing my eSIM ACT code online.

Here are my potential plans for each phone group:

Group 1 - (Family, Friends, Coworkers and Club Members) Either buy a Mint Mobile physical SIM, active the SIM on an old Samsung phone (because I'm having trouble running the Mint Mobile app on GrapheneOS) or keep using my main phone number I've all ready give to family and friends over the years and maybe port the number over to a VOIP service e.g. Google Voice and have it email me the voicemail. I need to be able from my family, friends and coworkers to get a hold of me encase of an emergency and vise versa.

Group 2 - (Medical, Doctors, Pharmacy and other services) I don't need to have immediate access to these number except when I going to the doctors (current or new) or need to able to contact a service I'm using e.g. auto mechanic. I was thinking of using something like JMP.chat or something that for call and text only and that will work with 2FA short codes. Also, the price need to be low or pay as you go. Because I may not use this phone only from time to time when I need it

Group 3 - (Signups, apps and 2FA codes) Like I mentioned before. I might continue using my Cloaked account for this. But I would be willing to try something else e.g. Hushed or Burner. Also, the cost will need to be cheap or pay as you go. I might slipt off the 2FA codes as a forth group.

I'm also looking into Cape for Groups 1 & 2. But in need to put the $99/month price into my budget.
