  • In Google Find My Device tag recommendation?

    Yes, I too would love the option to enable these tags

    After recently coming very close to losing my only car key, I decided that I cannot live without these tags - considering FMD works for the phone itself, I don't see why we can't have the tags?

    For now I'll try and make do with a 2nd phone. But am I right in understanding that you need to use the device (2nd phone) they were paired with to track the tags (or at least, the 2nd phone needs to be powered on?)

    P.S did anyone open an issue on github in the end?

    Yes I too just got 4 Moto tags which I'm unable to pair to my phone.

    On a related note - they seem to require pairing via 'fast pairing' -- which also seems to be non-operational on GOS.

    they most annoying part is, I could have sworn I got one to pair when I got it out of the box - I backed out because I thought I'd like to link it to another account and have since been unable to pair. I was only paying half attention so maybe I'm imagining that it paired...

    I feel like perhaps the right settings in the right places could resolve the issue, but so far I've had no luck
