  • MetropleX So updated windows 10 to windows 11. received the adapter that allows me to use the usb-c that came with the phone. between those 2 things I was able to get the laptop to recognize the pixel when connected. :)

    Thanks for the response

  • MetropleX So I was unable to use the cable that came with it because they shipped a USB-C to USB-C. So I used a USB-A to USB-C I had on hand already. Now, I'm unsure if I've ever done any data transfer with it previously so just to be safe I ordered an adapter(yesterday) for the provided USB cable. Should be here Monday, or if Amazon delivers like theyve been delivering it will be 2 days after that...

I'll chime in after I receive it to see if that mattered or not.

    Thanks for your responses :)

  • MetropleX Yes, unlocked, screen on 30 minute time out. developer mode activated, OEM unlocked, default USB set to 'file transfer/android auto'.

    • When I attempt to connect the Pixel 6A to my Acer Laptop, AN515-54 (NITRO 5), Windows 10 home, I receive the message "USB not recognized, The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it."

I've spent a good portion of today going through the internet and following a bunch of different advice that is often offered on the WWW, but to no avail. I am frustrated to say the least. Anyone have similar issues that they were able to resolve?

      Thanks
