  • Ok, I tried to follow most of what everyone had for solutions that worked for them. Here's what ended up working for me after several attempts.

    1. Installed Google Play Services from the GOS Apps, which installed GSF and GPS.
    2. Allowed network permissions during install.
    3. Downloaded and installed Gboard from GPS (not from Aurora, since the "Fast Voice Typing" didn't show with that download). Allowed network permissions as well.
    4. On the Gboard app, selected "Voice Typing", then "Faster Voice Typing"
    5. Didn't see anything downloading, but waited about 30-45mins.
    6. Went back to the all the Google services, disabled all network permissions, along with Gboard network permission.
    7. Opened internet, then search box, Gboard opened at bottom, selected voice, said, "Hello World",
    8. Everything typed out, mission complete.

    Enjoy,

  • I just tried to edit a photo at 10MP and 5MB and didn't have any issue. Tried it also with Google Photos, no issues as well. I'm on update 3 Stable.

Ok, I'm dumb, l did it both ways you suggested and it works now. I decided to just use the scopes method for more security. Also, I was worried the eraser function wouldn't work, but it works as advertised. Thank you for the quick reply.

    • I'm currently experiencing an issue with Google Photos. I can take a picture with Pixel Camera and the picture shows in Gallery, but not in Google Photos. I tried a few things that I read on this forum, but I'm not finding any fix for it. I know it's got to be something simple. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      • Just got my 8 Pro, will wait on the GOS to drop before I switch over to using it full time.
