I'm sorry for asking support for a non pixel device. Maintaining builds for lot of pixel devices is still a huge work. If you also maintain GSI with phhusson's patches, would be amazing !

Also, question to the non pixel users: Do you guys maintain Graphene GSI ? If so, can you please share here ? I'll be glad to sponsor you too.

I think you can't ship many things with an GSI build, like Kernel or (Updatable) Firmware, and that's why GSI builds are pretty much useless for an project like GrapheneOS which doesn't aim to provide a false sense of security to its users.

[deleted] Strange. At least, support for fairphone is worthless ? I know it comes with all FOSS out of the box. But graphene takes it further.

foxjaw This doesn't make sense. It's highly insecure and not fully functional. GrapheneOS is not only a system image. It's an OS which makes changes to the kernel, etc. It cannot function without the kernel changes. Supporting a device without updating the firmware, drivers and kernel is highly insecure and does not make sense for a hardened OS.

The only use for a GSI release is development/testing. The only use for GrapheneOS would be reusing a single system build across devices instead of building it for each, but that doesn't change that the OS is much more than the system image.

foxjaw Fairphone doesn't meet our basic security requirements. Releasing a GSI by itself is incompatible with shipping a secure OS.

This is not correct and not the intended purpose of the device.

@GrapheneOS Tq for the explanation. I think I've decided not to.
